Past Projects of Mana Babie's Supervised Neighborhood Playgroups Inc.:
Installation of public restrooms, and utilization of a piggery in order to establish a Biogas source, which supplies the community with two gas stoves that can cook rice even during the worst of Filipino storms.
Installation of sidewalks in Barangays which formerly had issues with flooding and poor sanitary conditions.
Construction of a two room school building in which the bottom room functions as a venue for a playgroup, while the top floor houses a well established library which is free for all of the community to use.
Current Projects:
Construction of a four room school building which will provide ample space for our Supervised Neighborhood Playgroups as well as one room which has been reserved by the government to house a government daycare program for the community.
Mana Babie has just recently started to aid the street children of Calbayog by inviting them into her home to teach them bible studies, the importance of hygiene and of course to provide regular feedings for them to ensure that their nutritional needs are being met.
