All children under the age of 6 who are not attending early education services at any center based programs, can be accommodated at supervised neighborhood playgroups established by Mana Babie's St. Expeditus SNP Inc. and its partners, thus ensuring the psycho-social development of every child.
What we do:

We give children a fair start in life that positively influences the individual's readiness for primary school by effectively integrating health, nutrition, early learning, and psycho-social stimulation activities for their holistic development that promotes the rights of the child to survival, protection, participation and development.
Each child receives age appropriate phsycho-social stimulation activities that address their holistic development in regards to spiritual, socio-emotional, cognitive, receptive and expressive language, fine and gross motor skills, and self-help.
How we do it:
Through collaborations with the local government, we identify communities which have a high percentage of families with children under the age of six, and who live under some environmental set of difficult circumstances. These are regarded in our eyes as the children who need most our love, service, educational ability, and sense of charity.
Once a target population is established we train mothers, fathers, and any other willing, ambitious members of the community, about the steps of development in a child's life, and how best to embrace the Early Childhood Care and Development principals, in order to facilitate a Supervised Neighborhood Playgroup in their own community.
On top of the play-based care offered by our SNPs, Mana Babie also encourages the groups to aid in the child's nutrition and personal hygiene. This means working together to bathe the children who need it, as well as organizing feeding efforts.
